Asha Special School was founded with the belief that all children are capable to learn if they receive the education based on their special needs. Our mission is to provide quality education, training, and treatment to the children with special needs as well as to advocate for their rights. Our vision is to create a Nepal where disabled children can develop their abilities so that they can live a fulfilled life with self-respect and dignity.
The Nepal Healthcare Equipment Development Foundation (NHEDF) was founded on June 15th, 2014 by a group of seven biomedical engineers, doctors, nurses, and social workers.
The organization started with the aim and mission of accepting donated biomedical equipment from government hospitals and health clinics, repurposing them and tailoring their use to the specific needs of Nepalese patients.
