Asha Special School and Rehabilitation Center is a pioneer school for children with intellectual disabilities and cerebral palsy in Nepal, Hetauda. Asha School is run since 2013 by Hetaudeli Pariwar; a Nepali non-governmental, non-profit and non-religious organization (NGO). The organization functions within the legal framework of Nepal and it works together with the Spanish NGO “Familia de Hetauda”
Asha Special School was founded with the belief that all children are capable to learn if they receive the education based on their special needs. Our mission is to provide quality education, training, and treatment to the children with special needs as well as to advocate for their rights. Our vision is to create a Nepal where disabled children can develop their abilities so that they can live a fulfilled life with self-respect and dignity.
